Have you ever woken up and wondered what do I do now? Have you spent your adult life taking care of everyone else and wondered who am I? Have you ever wondered what am I supposed to do with this next chapter of my life? Well, this is part of my story.....

 

My husband and our two daughters are my world. I gave to them 100% making sure they were all envisioning and pursuing their dreams, encouraging and cheerleading them along the way. I enjoyed living through my family - when they were happy, I was happy; but when they were having a hard time, I also had a hard time. I could not separate my emotions from their emotions. Along the way I lost ME...Well, we are empty nesters now and I was left with who am I as an individual? I had no idea what I liked, what made me tick, what lit me up, and what MY dreams and desires were.

 

My educational background is important because it led me on this path that I am on and continue to walk along. I am, and always have been, a huge people-person. I graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. I was a social worker in home visiting, various medical practices, a case manager at various hospitals, and a Manager of Admissions & Social Services for many years at a short-term rehab and long-term care facility. My desire to always help others, and along the way find myself, was magnified during COVID. I did a lot of soul-searching and knew I still loved helping people but wanted something different - something that fed my soul. It was at this point that I started working with my own coach. Through this journey, I discovered who I am, what I wanted, and what I am meant to do. I went back to school and have become a certified Life & Health Coach, a certified Transformational Mastery Coach, & a certified CIJ Catalyst Trainer. Going through the process myself and learning the tools, I found ME!

 

My family is still my heart, but I now know they need to have the best version of me show up for them. I must take care of and nourish my #1!
